Dr. Salem received her Medical Degree from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, India in 1993. She completed her first 2 years of pediatric residency in New York, and her third year at University of Texas HSC, El Paso where she received her "Resident of the Year" award.
Later, Dr. Salem practiced in Athens, TX, providing comprehensive pediatric care and moved to Plano in 2001. She worked as a locum physician, gaining diverse experiences in many practices across DFW before establishing her own practice "Kiddie Docs" in 2004.
Dr. Salem is married to her husband since 1995, and has two sons, Sanjay and Surya. Being a mom, she understands the importance of taking care of your child's well-being and is committed to helping you in this endeavor.
Dr. Salem is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has completed her MBA in Healthcare Management from University of Texas at Dallas.
K Vishalini L S Kanaga MD
Board Certified in Pediatrics
Dr. Kanaga graduated medical school with honors from AIMST University, Malaysia in 2010.
She completed her Pediatric Residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical
Center, NY in 2019. Following that, she worked as an Attending Physician at a hospital in
NYC for 2 years, providing both outpatient and inpatient care. She recently moved to the
DFW area with her family and is excited to serve the surrounding community. Dr. Kanaga is
certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Kanaga enjoys working with parents and children of all ages, helping them embrace
different stages of childhood and adolescence. She has special interest in preventive care,
newborn care, breastfeeding, obesity and weight management through a healthy lifestyle.
Outside of work, she spends most of her time with her husband and 2 children. She loves
reading books, watching movies, playing board games and travelling. Dr. Kanaga is fluent in
English, Tamil and Malay.
Rashmi Krishnappa

Rashmi Krishnappa completed her training in Clinical Medical Assistant from Collin County Community College in August 2012. She also owns a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Karnataka University, India.
Rashmi has a deep interest in pediatric care and she has combined her passion for pediatric care with her background in Biological Sciences to offer the best possible care for children in the North Dallas area.
She lives with her husband Prithvi and two daughters Aanvi and Anya in West Plano.

Olimpia enjoys caring for children and is always willing to help the parents in any way she can. She is a our medical office assistant helping families with Vaccine Administration and vitals. She also helps with appointments and general office duties.
